Here's what...

...I love: These maternity pants. Seriously, they are the most comfortable pants I've ever owned in my ENTIRE LIFE. Besides, they look cute with a boyfriend t-shirt or tank, with a long cardi or denim jacket and sandals for errand-running/shopping/whatever. (SN: The photo shows the bottoms of them to be super long, but they were the perfect length and they also didn't have that whitish trim you may see if you zoom in)

I wonder: Why aren't ALL pants made like maternity pants? They're so comfortable and the way they're designed just makes sense. I went to TJ Maxx the other day and perused the 'normal size' clothes and saw a pair of linen pants with a fold-over waist that made the pants look a LOT like maternity pants except they weren't. So, I bought them anyway, and you know what? Totally comfy. So, goes to show you that you don't have to buy just maternity clothes - you just have to be creative.

I cannot stand: This Taylor Swift/Kanye West crap. Yes, I know there's more important things happening in the world that I can't stand but that's way too deep for me to get into here. But, really - TSwift can he heard clearly giving Kanye free rein after gushing over how much she respects him and how it's all "obviously tongue-in-cheek" so he could use "whatever line he thinks is best." He is literally the LAST person to give that go-ahead to.

I'm addicted to lately: Popsicles. Like, the generic orange, cherry and especially grape Popsicle Ice Pops. I wish they just made a box of grape pops. They're refreshing, tasty and make me feel like a kid in summer again. Also, I LOVE these Jack Rogers jellies. I first saw these on a friend's Instagram and I love Jack Rogers, so I had to get them. I'm normally between a 7 and 7 1/2, so the 7's fit perfectly.

Makes me sad: I didn't have a baby shower. Living on opposite coasts as friends and family makes a lot of things harder. And, with all that Zika stuff going around, I just didn't think it was worth flying while pregnant, not to mention flying from CA to NY is exhausting in itself. While friends and fam did send gifts, and I hate opening gifts in front of people, it does make me a little sad I missed out on being there in person. My mom had suggested a Skype Shower...but seeing people I love through a screen and not being able to hug them would have made me way too emotional. And, who would RSVP 'yes' to a shower where the mom-to-be is basically a robot? Hahaha. Personally, I'd simply send a gift.

Makes me mad: Pretty much everything happening in the world, lately. It's all so overwhelming and not to get all preachy, but I think it's really important for everyone to practice tolerance, acceptance, kindness and patience with each other.

I'm currently reading: After You by Jojo Moyes, which is the sequel to Me Before You (also a movie). If you haven't read Me Before You, do so before you see the movie. I haven't seen the film yet, but we all know the books are always better, right? WARNING: You will need tissues. Lots of tissues. For all sorts of different tears.

Scares the crap out of me: Hmmm. Thinking about labor. There, I said it. I think it's because I have no idea what to expect it to be like. It's been a long, long time since I've gone though something I'm a complete newbie at. But, I know I'll be OK. No, I'll be amazing!
