The *one* mom thing I'd hate to be without

...besides Owen. Obviously.

The BEABA (pronounced Bee-ah-bah) Babycook is LIFE. It's literally the single most amazing invention I've ever heard of. If someone walked up to me on the street and asked, "What is the most amazing invention that comes to mind right this second" I would say "BEABA BEABA BEABA!" without even thinking.

What is it?

Well, I'll tell you. It's a lifesaver. This machine not only steams food like veggies, fruits and even then purees it. You do it ALL in ONE MACHINE. And, it's so easy for cleanup, too. There's even a little spatula hidden in the back of the machine that you can use to push down food while pureeing, and it doubles as a tool to lift up the steamer basket when the steaming process is done. Mind.Blown.

When Owen was nearing the solid food stage, I was silently anxious about it - not because I was worried if he'd be a good eater or not, but because I wasn't sure how I would go about cooking/pureeing/freezing food for him, and how time consuming it would be, so on and so forth.

Honestly, the BEABA makes it soooo easy - and also fun! I got the one pictured, but you can also get a single cooker too. AND, they have a whole line of products like food storage for fridge and freezer, as well as cookbooks.

I've even steamed veggies for dinner for my husband and I, and the cookbook has a 'beyond baby' section for adult recipes.

So, maybe you've seen the BEABA in Target or Buy Buy Baby and second-guessed whether you needed it or not. YOU NEED THIS. Put it on your registry, make the investment - and if your health insurance has a wellness debit card - check if it would be an approved purchase (it was for mine).

You seriously won't regret it. You can thank me later, and come over for BEABA margaritas.

Kidding. Maybe....?
